Actor/Combatant/Technician

THOMAS J. HONEYWELL

Thomas J. Honeywell is a 23 year old nonbinary actor, combatant, and technician currently working in the Twin Cities Metro Area. They have worked on shows at the professional level in both performance and technical positions. Notable positions include Chris in The Play That Goes Wrong with Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Tru Novak and Fight Choreographer for Neon Breeze with The House in the Woods Theatre Company (as part of the 2025 Minnesota Fringe Festival), Master Carpenter for The Producers and Matilda for Open Door Community Theatre, and Head Wardrobe for Greater Tuna with Paul Bunyan Playhouse. Thomas' skills primarily lie in farce, stage combat, and carpentry. They are currently working on receiving their Actor Combatant Certification through the Society of American Fight Directors. Through their training with SAFD, Thomas intends to begin working as a professional Fight Choreographer, and help usher in a new era of safe, creative, and authentic stage combat for performers to present, and audiences to enjoy.​

Thomas is currently in rehearsal as Porter in Rosetown Playhouse's production of "Macbeth," as well working with Open Door Community for their third show as the Master Carpenter and Rigger for their upcoming production of "Footloose."

Off the stage, Thomas is currently taking a Rapier & Dagger SPR with Art in Arms, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In December 2025, they received their SPR in Unarmed, passing with recommendation through the Society of American Fight Directors, also taught at Art in Arms.
